Fullmetal Alchemist, Vol. 26 (Fullmetal Alchemist #26)

Ooooh boy. This was really the most absolutely bizarre episode of the whole glorious mess. It’s going full Cthulhu this time around. And it works. I have no idea what’s going on, but it’s glorious!

Oh Father/Dwarf, such power and it still doesn’t understand.

Fullmetal Alchemist, Vol. 25 (Fullmetal Alchemist #25)

I find Greed’s storyline absolutely fascinating. Of all the Homunculi, who would have expected that one to be the most likely to change. Perhaps it says something about humanity?

In any case, it’s a crazy story that just keeps getting bigger and crazier. GIANT BATTLES! SOUND EFFECTS! CRAZY THINGS HAPPENING!

Fullmetal Alchemist, Vol. 22 (Fullmetal Alchemist #22)

Pride + Gluttony, Ed does what needs doing, and the oh so very creepy zombie attack of Fullmetal Alchemist. Man this story keeps getting crazier and crazier. It’s fascinating to me to see how some loyalties shift from what you believed you knew and some just keep getting better/worse all the while.

Per volume thoughts (potentially spoilery):

Fullmetal Alchemist, Vol. 20 (Fullmetal Alchemist #20)

Ooooh my. A human traitor, a Homunculus rendered … cute?, the fated meetings of Rose and Winry and Van Hohenheim and his children, a whole manufactored army (because of course) … and the Armstrongs. Oh the Armstrongs. Things just keep escalating step by step. We’re really getting into the endgame now!
