I’ve always had a soft spot for photography. I borrowed my mother’s camera in high school and eventually bought my own. These days, I mostly use my phone (it’s amazing how good those have gotten), but I still pull out my years old DSLR from time to time.
Mostly, I have pictures organized by photosets, but I’ve started adding a few ‘meta sets’ like Mini Worlds, Bugs etc (macros), and Fungus Among Us.
As a class trip (Religion & Ecology) through Rose-Hulman, myself, over a dozen other students, and two professors embarked on a pair of pilgrimages in Europe. The first set of pictures (posted last night) is in England. This set comes from the Camino de Santiago in Spain.

The second preparation hike (for me) for the class pilgrimage trip to England and Spain. This time, we went to McCormick’s Creek, although with the recent rain, it got rather interesting.
I submitted “Darkened Lantern” for the Lighting IV challenge at DPChallenge. I came in 157 out of 190 with a score of 4.61 / 10. Personally, I like the shot, so it all works out in the end.
