Well that escalated quickly.

Hungry Ghosts gets even further away from the standard necromany stuff and more into the Aztec mythology as Eric tries his hardest to save himself and kill anyone that gets into his way–even if they so happen to be gods.

This time around, Tabitha is back and has a bit of a Santa Muerte problem herself. I’m still not entirely sure what to think about her character arc in this series. It’s interesting, but really really strange.

Worldbuildingwise, Mictlan (the Aztec land of the dead) is fascinating and feels well done. The island of the dolls is so very creepy. And real…

That was quite a third to the series. It’s still not going where I expected to at first, but I’m getting used to it. It’s unfortunate that this is the last one out thus far. I really want to know what the fallout of that whole mad ending is…
